The Challenge

Sales Layer wanted to set up a legal entity and open their UK Office. This was the first office outside of their Spanish HQs, so a lot of guidance and knowledge sharing was required to navigate this tricky exercise and market entry. 18 months later they are now have a fully established team in London and have secured their Series B from Peakspan Capital and are growing quickly in North America following their third office opening. They were challenged by:

No talent team in the business of 35 so heavily reliant on agency
No data or guidance on salary or benefits in the UK
Ramping targets and pressure from VC's
Historical prolonged process for hiring with inconsistent delivery from external agencies
Lack of network and brand awareness in hiring market
Requirement to create seamless candidate experience and efficient onboarding

The Solution

Build the Sales Layer brand awareness by engaging and on-boarding experienced Mar-Tech candidates across Sales, Pre Sales & Marketing.
Create accountability, predictability and control applied to the business-critical open headcounts. This launch has contributed to revenue growth and the business scaling to +100 people and closing an additional $25m USD series B from Peakspan Capital in June 2022.
